24 years moving between brand work and performance marketing - started as a graphic designer, built my way up through agency, corporate, and my own business. Brand/creative work spans major licensed consumer brands, national retail chains, and the tactical/firearms industry (Mission First Tactical, Kee Action Sports). Also founded and ran my own apparel brand for 12 years - white-labeled for tactical brands, grew into a screen printing/embroidery business, ultimately closed by COVID.
Most recently built and ran marketing for three brands simultaneously — a design-build firm, a home services company, and a hospitality venue from zero, with no existing process, team, or infrastructure. That included a full brand identity build for a new venue before it even opened, a brand refresh for the design-build firm, and rebuilding a Google Ads account after uncovering $35,500 in untracked agency spend with zero conversions. Results: $1.87M in closed revenue on $18K in ad spend (0.97% cost of marketing vs. a 2-10% industry standard), and a 57% reduction in Google CPC.
I walk comfortably between brand/creative and performance/analytics, where most marketers only live in one and having built and lost a business to circumstances outside my control, I understand what's actually at stake for an owner betting on their marketing, not just the tactics.
I integrate AI tools operationally, not as a buzzword - using Claude for analysis, reporting, and strategy; ChatGPT for copy and ideation; and Claude Design, Higgsfield, and Nano Banana for creative and video production. That lets me move at a speed and cost most fractional marketers, at any age, can't match.
Looking to bring that same build-from-zero approach to a business that needs a marketing leader, not just a marketing vendor - whether that's brand, performance, or both.
